We offer wellness and skill building activities that enhance self-esteem, anchor self-worth, and empower individuals.
We bring people together in safe spaces to connect to each other and support personal growth, community development, and food justice.
We engage in activities that reduce carbon emissions, reduce exposure to toxins, and support people in their alignment with place.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rooted in the belief that healthy, just, and sustainable food systems must be built by and for the communities they serve. Originally founded to support school gardens and community food spaces like Juntos en el Jardín, we have grown into a community-led organization working to meet a wide range of health-related social needs in broader service areas.
Across all programs, we prioritize community self-determination and cultural relevance. We work in partnership with students and families to co-create opportunities that reflect their goals and needs. Our vision is to ensure that local food systems uplift those historically excluded from them.
As we grow, we are also deepening our advocacy strategies and expanding partnership efforts with community-serving institutions to build up the presence of equitable food procurement from local, environmentally sustainable producers rooted in our community.
We recently rebranded from Grow Lincoln County to The Grow Collective and we are excited about new partnerships we are building. Stay tuned for more announcements and sign up for our newsletter for the most up to date happenings.
Our current efforts focus on expanding food sovereignty, health equity, and opportunity. We are collaborating with farmers, other nonprofits, schools, and businesses on research projects, program design, fundraising, evaluation, and reporting.
